cELEBRATING OUR TRIUMPHS

Either as participants or spectators, we have all experienced and enjoyed the euphoria generated by achievements in sport.

At the international level, sport evokes an unmatched sense of pride and satisfaction. Beyond the health, social, and economic benefits it brings to society, sport inspires young people to strive for greatness, fostering resilience and hope.

As we reflect on the 2024 Paris Olympics, where 49 athletes from the Gold Coast secured an incredible eight gold medals for Australia, and the Paralympic Games, where our athletes claimed three gold medals while inspiring the nation, it’s clear how sport unites and strengthens our community.

The dedication of our sportspeople, administrators, and volunteers, whether on local fields or world stages, has shaped the Gold Coast into a hub of sporting excellence.

The 56th Annual Gold Coast Sports Awards is now calling for nominations to celebrate the hard work, dedication, and achievements of our sportspeople at every level, from grassroots to elite.
