Attention sports tech developers or innovators
The Gold Coast Sporting Awards gala dinner will recognise the role technology and innovation play in sport at both the grassroots and elite levels, with the Gold Coast Sport Technology or Innovation Award for 2023.
The award is aimed at products and ideas adding tangible, measurable value to sports players, administrators, teams or fans. From broadcast technologies to skill enhancement apps and fan engagement initiatives, technology touches every corner of the sporting sector. Its role in our sporting lives continues to rise as athletes, players, teams, clubs, sporting bodies and supporters seek solutions, data and new ideas to support their work.
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for this award, nominees must have an active or fully developed product or program in the sports technology/innovation space. Nominees must either operate in the Gold Coast region, or have their product or program running on the Gold Coast.
Businesses or individuals nominating themselves must provide the details of a minimum of three referees to substantiate their nomination. Businesses or individuals can be nominated by a third party (EG, user, partner, investor, etc).
CATEGORIES
Categories can include, but are not limited to, innovative programs or technology, such as;
- Athlete or player skill development tools (physical and digital)
- Sport administration tools
- Fan engagement technologies
- Healthy lifestyle programs
- Sport arena technologies
- Promotion or marketing tools
- Use of existing technology to promote or enhance sport
- Sporting initiatives with positive economic impact for the Gold Coast
