We would like to extend our sincere hope, support and best wishes to young Preston Potter, the unfortunate victim of a hit and run incident in Burleigh on Thursday night.
Preston plays junior rugby league player at the Parkwood Sharks Rugby League Club. Before this incident he was a perfectly healthy and happy 16-year-old and now needs the support of our generous sporting community to help his fight back from this tragic incident.
Preston remains in Intensive Care at the Gold Coast University Hospital suffering from serious head injuries and some badly broken bones.
Our Gold Coast sporting community is a close-knit and supportive bunch, with a culture of always helping our own. This is certainly what young Preston and his family need at this time.
