“The council of the City of Gold Coast under the supervision of former CEO of the Commonwealth Games, Mark Peters is undertaking a review of the current Gold Coast sports plan and producing a one leading to the 2032 Olympics.
This is an important document for all sports bodies and participants as well as education stakeholders.
Sports Gold Coast has already had an input and has been asked to publicize the current survey which is been conducted by council with all participants and stakeholders in sport throughout the city.
All citizens of the Gold Coast should participate to enable the council to produce the right strategy. And opportunity like this may not come again for at least 10 years. “
